If you're flying into Atlanta on Delta, you'll be landing at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL). Here's what you need to know about getting from the airport to your final destination.

When you land at ATL, follow the signs for ground transportation. You'll find the Delta baggage claim area in Terminal South. Once you've collected your luggage, head to the MARTA station. From there, you can take a train or bus into the city.

If you're taking a train, purchase a Breeze Card from any MARTA station before boarding. You'll need this card to pay for your fare. Once you're on board, take the train to the Five Points Station. From there, you can transfer to another train line or catch a bus.

If you're taking a bus, purchase a fare card from the kiosk at any MARTA station before boarding. You can use cash or a credit or, debit card to pay for your fare. Once you're on board, take the bus to Peachtree Street or North Avenue station. From there, you can transfer to another bus line or catch a train.

Airport arrivals directions

Assuming you are arriving at the Atlanta Airport (ATL), or any airport, by air, you will need to follow the signs to the baggage claim area. After you have collected your luggage, you can either take a taxi or rental car to your final destination or use public transportation.

If you are taking a taxi, there is a designated taxi pick-up area located outside of the baggage claim area. There will be a line of taxis waiting to take passengers to their next destination. The fare will depend on your final destination but expect to pay around $30-$40 for a ride into downtown Atlanta.

If you are renting a car, there are plenty of options located near the airport. all major rental companies have locations at ATL, and most offer free shuttle service from the airport to their off-site location. Once you have your rental car, follow the signs for I-85 North and exit onto I-75 North towards Chattanooga/Macon. Take Exit 249 for Windy Hill Road and turn left at the light onto Windy Hill Road. The hotel will be on the right.

If you are taking public transportation, MARTA offers both rail and bus service from ATL. The rail station is located in the domestic terminal between concourses T and A, and buses depart from curbside on the lower level outside of baggage claim.
